About Me
Myke Hawke is a U.S. Army Special Forces Captain, (aka: Green Berets), currently in the reserves
assigned to the U.S. Army Special Forces Command. Formerly a senior Special Forces Sergeant, he specialized in medicine, communications, and intelligence, combat search
and rescue, guerrilla warfare, counterterrorism, and security tactics. He has deployed to hotspots throughout Eastern Europe, the Middle East,
Latin America, South America, South East Asia, and Africa. Rated in multiple languages, Hawke has a bestselling book,
The Quick & Dirty
Guide to Learning Languages Fast (authored under the pen name, A.G. Hawke). His new book,
Myke Hawke’s Green Beret Survival Manual
will be out in April, published by Running Press.
Hawke is an experienced survival instructor in jungle, desert, arctic, sea, and urban environments and runs an
international adventure company, Specops, teaching and training in fitness, leadership, and survival. He also works with media,
both behind the scenes in advisory capacities and on screen in featured roles. He has appeared on MTV, The Travel Channel—his stint with Andrew Zimmern on Bizarre Foods
airs this spring—ABC, CBS, and the BBC, among others. He was featured in The Discovery Channel’s widely acclaimed Science of Survival: Escape from the Amazon and is most
currently filming their upcoming survival series set to begin airing in July of this year. Hawke put Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie through the wringer on The Simple Life Goes to Camp and tortured
the Dirty Sanchez boys on film. Other recent shows include: The Gadget Show, Fifth Gear, Health Cops Tactical to Practical, Road Rules, Forever Eden, Living with Kimberly,
Britain’s Worst Boss, and Castaway Exposed.
